Notice for the 2023 Term 3 Korean language class
Hello
applicants!KEC appreciates your ongoing interest in the Korean language and culture.
Please refer to 2023 Term 3-4 Timetable and Overview before applying for your class.
(1) KEC Korean class application
1) The Korean class (KEC) will begin on 17 July 2023, both onsite (class A) and online (class B-Zoom), closing the term3 classes on 22 September.
Your application will be accepted based on the first comer, first-served basis, so we can recommend you transferring from A group to B if the number of applicants exceeds the quota.
2) Calligraphy class will not be in terms 3 and 4.
3) Korean Club is open fortnightly only to the students who graduated from the KEC advanced course.
The application will be activated on the KEC website on 20 June till 3 July (12:00 pm).
So, you can access the Course Application Form 2023 from 20 June (Tuesday) for the Korean class of Term 3.

You will get a confirmation email around the first week of July 2023.
You must meet the 70% of Attendance in term 3 to apply for the next term class.
So, please be aware of the guidelines of the attendance requirement for the next term registration.
You are eligible to register for one class only, and also, you should keep staying in one level for at least 20 weeks to move on to the next course.
Please inquire to your teacher in two weeks after the first class begins if the current level or class day does not fit you.

(2) Tangaroa College Korean Class funded by NA CAPE
FOUNDATION KOREAN is a 2-term programme designed for those with zero-background in Korean.
This programme is organised and sponsored by NA CAPE in partnership with Onehunga Adult Learning Centre,
Tangaroa College, Korean Education Centre (KEC) and Korean Language and Culture Centre (KLCC). No fees are required. Materials and light snacks will also be provided for FREE.
Classes will be held on -MONDAYS, 6:00-8:00PM (2 hours) -TERM 3: 8 weeks, beginning 24 July 2023 -TERM 4: 8 weeks, beginning 16 Oct 2023

Personal data will be collected upon registration and will be used only for reporting, evaluation and research purposes.
