To spread the taste of Korean food around New Zealand, the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Auckland will hold a Korean food cooking contest <2015 Global Taste of Korea> NZ Contest at Cornell Institute of Business and Technology (Level 4, 150 Hobson Street Auckland Central)  in Auckland on 18 July (Saturday) in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Jeollabuk-do Provincial Government, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), Korea's leading national broadcaster.

The contest is open to all New Zealand citizens who have an interest and love about Korean food. The winner will be given a chance to participate in the final rounds in Korea representing New Zealand (all-expenses-paid trip to Korea). The winner of the Grand Final will receive a US$10,000 award!
